FIRST TOUCH - WINTER SEASON

The First Touch is a program designed to introduce U3 & U4 players  (born on 2017 and 2016) to play soccer for the first time in a small-sided setting.  First Touch will allow players to learn the basic concepts of soccer in a fun environment that will set the foundations for a lifetime of enjoyment in the sport.  Focus will be placed on basic techniques and movement, but mostly on FUN!!

First Touch is a unique opportunity to introduce your child to soccer. This program will offer 45-minute sessions for you and your child. Both of you will have fun working together with a GGS coach. The coaching staff will present basic ball skills and coordination games. It will give your child a great start to this lifetime sport and will also prepare them for GGS's MiniKickers Program.

First Touch Program Information

Offered at Jim Beech Recreation Center (Directions)

  • Dates: Starting November 1st, 2019

    • 9 sessions / 45 minutes

    • Practice Dates (Fridays) - 11/1, 11/8, 11/15, 11/22, 12/6, 12/13, 12/20, 1/10, 1/17, 1/24

  • Practice Time: 6:00pm-6:45pm

  • Festival: 1/31/2020

  • Cost: $80.00 (includes training shirt)

  • Discount:​

    • Multi-Child Discount: $10 OFF for 2nd child

    • $15 voucher if a parent volunteers

    • $20 OFF - Early-Bird Registration until October 13th, 2019
